Due to the fact that the oral history can be done in a wide range of Iranian sports history in various fields, the implementation of projects through outsourcing and project-based plan has been entrusted to specialized individuals and groups.

1. Oral history of Iranian football (1921-1978)

This study aims to compile the history of football in terms of the impact of political, urban and ethnic discourses in Iran and from this approach to describe and explain the establishment and operation of modern sports institutions, clubs and physical spaces, the formation of actors' personalities, and their performance (such as players, coaches, media and spectator culture) and sports events held in Iran from the beginning of the sport up to 1978 and the role of the sport in the formation and development of the identity of various urban centers.


2. Oral history of developments in women's sports in Iran

This research deals with the oral history of the Women's Sports Federation of Islamic countries. The project seeks to provide a sporting, cultural, social and political picture of the federation's formation, development, activities and closure. Of course, this study does not only express the role and performance of the Women's Sports Federation of Islamic countries, but also seeks to examine and research a section of the situation of women's sports in Iran after the Islamic Revolution by examining the activities of the federation.


3. Oral history of Iranian wrestling

This research is a representation and reproduction of the culture of championship and heroism in the history of Iranian wrestling. The other part of this project is related to Gholamreza Takhti. Undoubtedly, Gholamreza Takhti's name shines as one of the heroes in the history of Iranian sports.


4. Oral history of the Iranian sports press; Researcher: Ebrahim Afshar

This project seeks to shed light on the unclear parts of spots in the history of the Iranian sports press, including newspapers and magazines and the people who are involved.


5. Oral history of sports complexes and venues in Tehran

Lack of references and sources for accurate and scientific knowledge of the history of sports venues and stadiums in Tehran due to lack of knowledge of its importance in understanding society and inattention to information and historical classification in this area and mistakes in this field have led to a historical forgery. Historical recording, compilation and preparation of related sources is justified and necessary for the above reason.


6. Oral history of sports for the disabled and the Paralympic movement in Iran

The National Paralympic Committee of Iran was formed after the victory of the Islamic Revolution, and during these years, prominent people have always been pioneers in the development of sports for the disabled in the country, people who are now full of valuable experiences. Conversation with such people in the form of oral history transforms these experiences from a mental to an objective state and turns it into a practical knowledge.


7. Oral history of the Physical Education Organization and the Ministry of Sports and Youth; Researcher: Dr. Habib Honari

This study seeks to provide an overview of the formation, changes, development and activities of the Physical Education Organization and the Ministry of Sports and Youth. Of course, this study will not ignore the impact of this organization on the situation of sports in Iran before and after the Islamic Revolution.


8. Oral History of the National Olympic Committee; Researcher:  National Archives and Library of Iran

This study deals with the oral history of the National Olympic Committee of Iran. This project seeks to provide an administrative, cultural, sports and political picture of the formation, development and activities of the National Olympic Committee of Iran. Of course, this study not only expresses the role and performance of the National Olympic Committee of Iran, but also examines and researches a part of the impact of this Committee on the situation of sports in Iran before and after the Islamic Revolution.


9. Oral history of the Asian Games in Tehran, 1974

Since about half a century has passed after hosting the Asian Games in Tehran, it is necessary for the younger generation, who have less information about this event, to get acquainted with the different dimensions of this event.


10. Compilation of oral history of Iranian Education’s sports 

In this study, researchers chronicle the important events and incidents of Iranian student sports since its inception and analyze its developments; explain the achievements of student sports in this period, highlight the evolution of its relations with other national and international sports, educational and academic organizations and review the brief history of plans, programs, laws and regulations, organizational structure, manpower and sports credits of the country. 


11. A review of the oral history of Iranian volleyball with emphasis on the growth of Iranian volleyball after the Islamic Revolution

This study deals exclusively with the history of Iran's volleyball leap in international arenas with emphasis on participation in the Olympics and Asian Games.


12. A review of 100 years of Iranian basketball using the experiences of influential people in this field

This research explores the development of basketball in Iran by referring to influential people who can be used as a reference in the future.


13. Oral history of Iranian football (1978-2020)

This study aims to compile the history of this sport in terms of the impact of political, urban and ethnic discourses in Iran and to describe and explain how football evolved after the revolution, along with the functioning of modern sports institutions, clubs and physical spaces, and its formation. The personality of the actors and their performance (such as players, coaches, members of the media and spectator culture) and the sporting events that have taken place so far, as well as the role of this sport in shaping and developing socio-political and identity changes in Iran after the Islamic Revolution are also addressed.
