49th EB Meeting Holds

Iran NOC; Tehran: Dr. Mahdi Alinejad, Secretary-General of the National Olympic Committee, told reporters at the end of the 49th Executive Board meeting: "Based on today's agenda, the budget of the federations was reviewed. NOC has deposited some amounts to national federations”.

“Based on the opinion of the Executive Board, chairs of the 11 commissions of the National Olympic Committee were also determined. Most of these people are former chairs, but new faces are also present on the list. Accordingly, the Education Commission will be chaired by Dr. Mahmoud Goodarzi, the Environment Commission by Dr. Mehrafza Manouchehri, the Sports Medicine Commission by Gholamreza Norouzi, the Tourism Commission by Farshid Golzadeh Kermani, the International Relations Development Commission by Kiyomars Hashemi, the Marketing Commission by Shamsoddin Hosseini, the Ethics Commission by Mr. Forotan, the Cultural Commission by Mr. Sarlak, the Women and Sports Commission by Dr. Mahin Farhadizad, the Peace and Sports Commission by Dr. Hamid Ghasemi, and the Media Commission by Abdolhamid Ahmadi” added the NOC secretary-General.

The National Olympic Committee's Secretary-General stated in the last paragraph of approvals of the Executive Board: “The National Olympic Committee has considered a new program to honor Olympic champions by holding a birthday celebration for those born in each month at the end of that month, which was held for those born in March, and the continuation of this program and the gifts planned for it were approved by the members of the Executive Board. Assistance to the Sports Writers and Journalists Association for the last and current years was also approved”. Dr. Alinejad also highlighted some parts of the reports given by chefs de mission of Bahrain 2025 and other major events.
