In order to improve the performance of Iranian athletes in international arenas, the country's first Artificial Intelligence Sports Innovation Center (HAMTA) was inaugurated in the presence of the Minister of Sports and Youth, the Secretary General of the National Olympic Committee, and the Vice President for Science, Technology, and Knowledge-Based Economy.

inauguration ceremony of the country's first Artificial Intelligence Sports
Innovation (HAMTA), Metaverse, and Blockchain sports, titled Hemta Center, was
held at Sharif University of Technology in the presence of Dr. Ahmad Donyamali,
Minister of Sports and Youth, Dr. Mahdi Alinejad, Secretary General of the
National Olympic Committee, and Dr. Hossein Afshin, Vice President for Science,
Technology, and Knowledge-Based Economy.
The purpose of launching this
center is to attract the participation of technology experts in meeting the
technological requirements of sports at all levels of championship and public
sports. Given the special view of the Ministry of Sports and Youth and the Vice
Presidency for Science and Technology towards the establishment of a sports
artificial intelligence center in the country, a significant budget has been
allocated for sports technological products in the hope that special events
will occur in improving the performance of Iranian athletes in Asian, world and
Olympic events. It is expected that with the launch of the center in Iran, the atmosphere
for the creation and development of more knowledge-based companies in this
field will increase.
