Dr. Farhadizad, Vice President of the National Olympic Committee, stated: “The International Scientific Research Conference on Women's Sports will be held in Tehran on February 17th.

stated in a press conference: "The Women's Sports Commission had several
programs this year that were completed; since last year, we have been designing
new programs to be implemented this year. The conference's theme, which was
raised last year with the slogan "Strong Iran, Strong Women, and Strong
Sports," is the first international conference on women's sports to be held
and implemented with the participation of researchers who work on Olympic
values”
“In this conference, we will have
3 specialized sessions on the topics of athlete protection, media and sports,
and equal opportunities, in which instructors who have worked on the topics
will have discussions and present their opinions on implementing various
issues. Considering that this is an international conference, this conference
was accepted by the Olympic Solidarity at the IOC and will be held with the presence
of three professors from international universities. In this regard, this
conference is approved by the International Olympic Committee and holds a high
value” added the NOC Vice-President.
