The Asian Winter Games Anti-Doping Center held its 10th coordination meeting and comprehensively planned the command, inspection and investigation operations.
Iran NOC; Tehran: In this
meeting, the Deputy Commander of the Asian Winter Games Anti-Doping Center and
the Deputy Director of the China Anti-Doping Center made comprehensive plans
for these competitions. The Director of the Office of the Chinese Anti-Doping
Center, the Head of the Inspection Department of the Center, and the Deputy
Commander of the Asian Winter Games Anti-Doping Center were also present at the
meeting. First, a report was presented on the overall status of anti-doping
preparations for the Asian Winter Games.
This report included equipping
doping control stations with general requirements, planning and construction of
anti-doping training stations, designing and organizing the functional
organization of the anti-doping command center, and providing support services
to technical officials.
The implementation mechanism of
the Anti-Doping Center during the competitions was explained, and a report was
presented on the status of construction of doping control stations, doping
investigation processes, and the training program for athletes’ companions. It
was emphasized that all doping control stations are ready and can carry out
doping-related missions at any time.
The 9th Asian Winter Games will
be held from February 7 to 14, hosted by Harbin and Yabuli, China.
