The opening ceremony of the National Olympic Academy's Physical & Mental Assessment Hall was held in the presence of Dr. Ahmad Donya Mali, Minister of Sports and Youth, Mahmoud Khosravi Vafa, President of the National Olympic Committee, Dr. Mohammad Tabe, Acting Secretary General of the National Olympic Committee, and a group of other deputies and directors of the Ministry of Sports and Youth, members of the Executive Board, presidents of sports federations, veterans, and media members.
Iran NOC; Tehran: At the
beginning of the ceremony, Dr. Mohammad Tabe, while presenting a brief report
on the steps taken in the preparation process of the hall, emphasized on the
importance of opening this hall and stated: "From now on, athletes of
national teams can benefit from the facilities of this center in a more
specialized environment and with more up-to-date equipment in order to better
prepare for a successful presence in international competitions."
Dr. Ahmad Donya Mali, Minister of
Sports and Youth, while appreciating the measures of the former and current
managers of the National Olympic Committee and Academy for the efforts made in
this complex, stated: "If some weaknesses are felt in achieving sports
results, it is due to the lack of use of existing potential and capacities”. Referring
to the progress made in the discussion of software and artificial intelligence
in sports, he added: "We ask the officials of the National Olympic
Committee and the deputies of the Ministry of Sports to be the connection point
of this center with sports federations with a motivated attitude so that with a
comprehensive and targeted approach, our championship sports can benefit the
most from this center."
