The Iranian women's national handball team ended its performance in the Asian Championship by qualifying for the World Championship and finishing fourth in Asia.

Handball team, which managed to secure a spot in the World Championship for the
third consecutive time by finishing second in Group B and advancing to the top
four teams of the 20th Asian Women's Handball Championship, faced a powerhouse,
Kazakhstan, in its last match in the 20th Asian Cup in the ranking stage. The
match ended by 22-28 for the opponent. Four teams - Iran, South Korea, Japan
and Kazakhstan - have qualified for the 2025 Women's World Championship, which
will be hosted by Germany/Netherlands.
