Iran's youth boxing team performed exceptionally in world competitions, completing the puzzle of the successes for age-group teams.

Boxing Championship, which began in Montenegro with the participation of 660
boxers from 77 countries, has ended. The Iranian team participated in the event
with four boxers and performed very well, setting unique records. Amirreza
Malekkhatabi won the historic silver medal, while Mehdi Kazemi and Amir
Esmaeili won the valuable bronze medals. These are the first medals for the
Iranian youth team in different editions of world competitions. Malekkhatabi
also became the first boxer in Iranian boxing history to reach the final of a
world competition.
