The U-23 Iranian national wrestling team won the world championship title in Albania by winning 3 gold and 4 bronze medals.

Greco-Roman Wrestling Championship was held in Tirana, Albania, and in the end,
the Iranian team won gold medals with Ali Ahmadi-Vafa in the 55 kg, Mohammad
Naqousi in the 82 kg, Fardin Hedayati in the 130 kg and won bronze medals by
Erfan Jarkani in the 63 kg, Danial Sohrabi in the 72 kg, Ali Osku in the 77 kg,
and Shayan Habib Zare in the 97 kg. In the team ranking, Iran won the
championship with 149 points. After the Iranian team, the teams of Georgia with
121 and Armenia with 93 points came second and third.
