With the completion of the selection panel of the 14th International Sports Film Festival of Iran, 85 Iranian productions made it to the judging stage.
Iran NOC; Tehran: After reviewing
260 Iranian productions in 7 categories of cinematography, short and long
stories, short and long documentaries, music videos and animations, 85 productions
were finalized for the judging stage. During a month of review by the selection
panel, 7 films in the cinema section, 16 productions in the music video and
teaser, 9 in the animation section and 8 in the short story section made it to
the competition section. More than 120 works in the short and long documentary
section were sent to this edition of the festival, which quantitatively indicated
a growth of more than 30% compared to the previous edition, highlighting that
this special attention to sports documentaries is a new chapter in the producing
sports works. Accordingly, 24 short documentaries and 21 long documentaries
made it to the final part of the judging. In this edition, about 630 productions
from Iran and 72 countries have registered their works to participate in the
festival, and the names of the works entered into the competition section in
the national and international sections will be announced soon.
