Iranian Table Tennis Junior Beats World Ranking Champion
Benyamin Faraji, the 14-year-old Iranian Table Tennis athlete, defeated Wang Chuqin, the world's first ranked player, by 3:2 in Iran's first match against China.

Iran NOC; Tehran: In the 1/4 final stage of the Asian Championship, Iran faced China and in the first game, Benyamin Faraji, the world's number one junior player, was against Wang Chuqin, the number one adult player in the world, and defeated this him by 3:2, and the national team went ahead by 1-0. Wang Chuqin is the mixed doubles gold medalist of the Paris 2024 Olympics and the team gold medalist of the Paris 2024, and he is currently ranked number one among the world's top Table Tennis players.
