The Women and Sports Commission was formed with the presence of members and some former managers of women's sports from the provinces of the country.
Iran NOC; Tehran: In this
meeting, Dr. Farhadizad, the NOC Vice-President and Commission Chair, while
welcoming the members and guests, appreciated and thanked the hardworking
managers of the women's sports during the years after the victory of the
Islamic Revolution, and then asked each of the managers to give a short report
on the effective decisions and their valuable role during management.
After the report given by the
guests about the development process of women's sports, Dr. Farhadizad
mentioned the purpose of holding the course titled "Training Young Olympic
Ambassadors" and then Nasrin Rezaei, from NOC Olympic Solidarity, gave a
detailed report on how the course was held in the first phase, and at the end, the
questions of the members were answered. In the end, it was decided that seven
training courses for training young ambassadors be held at the beginning of
next year, with the feedback from the first course, to be hosted by other
provinces and with the participation of athletes from neighboring provinces.
