Iranian national Lifesaving team won the first medal in the history of Lifesaving in the men's division at the World Championship in Australia.
Iran NOC; Tehran: During the
Lifesaving World Championship which was held in Gold Coast Australia, the
national Lifesaving team of Iran won the first medal in the history of the
discipline in the world championship and in the swimming pool division rope
throwing with the combination of Seyed Mohammad Hosseini and Amir Arslan Zarei
as national athletes. Iranian athletes passed the barrier of their powerful
opponents and made it to the final A, and after competing in the final, they
won the silver medal and the runner-up title in the world championship.
