Ali Labib was determined as the only cyclist of Iranian delegation in the upcoming Paris 2024 Olympic Games.
Iran NOC; Tehran: According to
the announcement of the National Teams Committee of the Cycling Federation, Ali
Labib will represent Iran at the Paris Olympics. According to a quota obtained
by the Iranian national road cycling team in the 2024 Paris Olympics, National
Teams Committee of the Cycling Federation introduced Ali Labib as the Iranian
Olympic cyclist. After Labib's acceptable performance in the Asian Games in
Hangzhou, followed by the bronze medal in the Kazakhstan Asian Championships,
with the approval of Jonathan Wiggins, the current head coach of the national
team, National Teams Committee of the Cycling Federation reviewed the
performance of this athlete, the only Olympic representative of cycling and
finally introduced the above said male athlete on behalf of Iran to participate
in the Paris 2024 Olympics.
