In the form of an official ceremony represented by the NOC President, Secretary-General and top-ranking sports officials, Olympians, athletes and children; the largest Olympic Flag was raised on the height of 100 meters above the NOC structure.
Iran NOC; Tehran: The largest
Olympic Flag which marks the 23rd of June as the International
Olympic Day has been carried by martial privates in an official manner to the flag’s
post. The 200 square-meter flag was co-carried by Iranian leading Olympians and
medalists and was then raised by the officials and athletes up to 100 meters
from the ground. Children and families also participated in this prestigious ceremony. Holding various programs such as running on the Olympic day, painting, rope pulling, etc. commemorated this great day and foundation of the modern Olympic games.

Foroughi, the Shooting gold medalist of the Tokyo 2020, Ali Pakdaman, the Fencing Olympian and champion of Asia and the world, Farzaneh Fasihi, the female Athletics Olympian and champion of Asia, Elham Hosseini, the Women’s Weightlifting Olympian and Asian champion and Haniye Rostamian, the female Shooting Olympian were
present to carry the flag and also the Olympic Day ceremony at the
National Olympic Academy.
