The name and motto of Iranian delegation to the Islamic Solidarity Games in Konya was announced at a press conference, which was held with the presence of the President of the National Olympic Committee and the Chef de Mission.

conference was held with the presence of Dr. Seyed Reza Salehi Amiri, the
President of the National Olympic Committee, Dr. Asghar Rahimi, the Chef de
Mission if Iranian Delegation to the 5th Islamic Solidarity Games, Had Saei, a
NOC Executive Board Member, and other members of the management staff.
In the following, Asghar Rahimi,
explained about the results of his trip to Konya in the meeting of the Cheves
de Mission and the registration process of the teams, and in the end, the name
of the Iranian delegation in these competitions was as "The Holy Prophet
(PBUH)” and the motto will also be "Proud Iran".
The opening ceremony of the fifth
edition of the Islamic Solidarity Games will start from August 18, and the
competitions will be held until August 27, hosted by Konya, Turkey.
