thank the President of the National Olympic Committee for giving us their time.
I am traveling to Iran for the second time. I am happy that many people are
active as athletes, referees and coaches at the international level and we
currently enjoy 30 international referees and personally I have always
supported and will always support Iran. Twenty years ago, there was no athlete
in Sepak Takraw in Iran, but now Iran is one of the powerhouses in the world
and in Asia. In July, at the same time as the Sepak Takraw World Championships,
we have a World Congress and we invite Dr. Salehi Amiri to participate in this
Congress as a special guest. In the managerial issues and the presence of women,
we are aware of the ability of Iranian women in sports, and it is important
that they are present in positions. We have approved the hijab for women, and
we are proud of the presence of Muslim women in Sepak Takraw.
