Dr. Seyed Reza Salehi Amiri, the NOC President and Dr. Seyed Hamid Sajadi, the Iranian Minister of Sports and Youth held meetings with top-ranking IOC Directors as presenting in Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics.
Iran NOC; Tehran: The Iranian
high-ranking sports officials highlighted and reported the promotions and
measures occurred during the past four years and raised expectations to IOC
Directors. The NOC President stated: “In these meetings, the senior managers of
the IOC were very happy that a sports figure and former Olympian had become the
Minister of Sports of Iran and welcomed the event. In these meetings, which
lasted for two hours, they expected that, as in the past four years, when there
was good cooperation between the National Olympic Committee of Iran and the
IOC, this cooperation be expanded bilaterally and even multilaterally”.
