The oral history project of Tehran 1974 Asian Games continued with interviews with two sports veterans.
Iran NOC; Tehran: Following the
oral history of Tehran 1974 Asian Games, Asghar Rahimi, along with Mohammad
Reza Dehkhoda and Atefeh Islamian, spoke with Parviz Sirouspour. He has been the
head coach of the national freestyle wrestling team at the Asian Games in
Tehran, where the national team won three gold medals. He later served as
president of the Wrestling Federation. Then, Kaveh Sarhadi was interviewed.
Sarhadi was a referee at the Asian Games in Tehran in Volleyball and had a very
good analysis of the technical level of the games and quoted interesting topics
from that period of the games. Kaveh Sarhadi served as the Secretary of the
Volleyball Federation in the following years The Oral History of the Tehran
1974 Asian Games project is being implemented with the aim of acquainting the
young generation with the various dimensions of hosting the Asian Games in
Tehran and its importance.
