Youth Olympic Games
The Youth Olympic Games, shortened to YOG is held every 4 years in
which all juniors within the age range of 14 to 18 participate after being
qualified and achieving the quota.

IRAN
Iranian delegation was sent to the event with 52 athletes (31 boys
& 21 girls) in the following fields:
Archery, Shooting, Basketball, Athletics, Boxing, Rowing, Football,
Judo, Swimming, Taekwondo, Volleyball, Weight-lifting and Wrestling leading to
5 medals (2 gold, 2 silver and 1 bronze) placing 26th in table.
In the course of the games, totaling 622 medals, 202 golds - 199
silvers and 221 bronzes were awarded to winners.
