Following the call of Dr. Seyed Reza Salehi Amiri, President of the National Olympic Committee, at the meeting of the Board of the Ski and Winter Sports Federation to establish the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics Headquarters, the first meeting of this Headquarters was held with presence of Dr. Seyed Nasrollah Sajjadi, Peyman Fakhri, Director of the National Teams Monitoring Center, Farid Fattahian, Director of International Relations, Dr. Abbas Nazarian, President of the Ski and Winter Sports Federation, Seyed Abdi Eftekhari, Member of the NOC Executive Board; Sara Mehrani, Director of the NOC Solidarity.
Iran NOC; Tehran: In this
meeting, which was held at the National Olympic Committee, Dr. Seyed Nasrollah
Sajjadi, Senior Advisor to the President of the National Olympic Committee,
called the formation of the 2022 Winter Olympics headquarters an important step
in sending the Iranian team with the best quality to this event. He
highlighted: “We do our best to provide proper support to the Iranian national
ski team and the delegation for the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympic Games by the
National Olympic Committee”. The Senior Adviser to the NOC President held:
"The Winter Olympics are very important in the world and the Ski and
Winter Sports Federation should move in a direction that can attend this
important event with more quotas and the planning should move in a direction
where the results improve in the Olympics”.
Peyman Fakhri, Director of
National Teams Monitoring Center, also said at the meeting: "According to
the program provided by the Ski and Winter Sports Federation, we will provide
the best conditions for setting up ski training camps. The National Olympic
Committee will spare no effort to support the skiers being sent to the 2022
Winter Olympics and we hope to see more quotas and better results in the in the
coming years."
